About the Author
A former professor at Michigan State University, Patricia is co-founder and former executive director of Life Decisions International. She serves on the board of directors for a number of organizations including Human Life International, Witness Works Foundation, Pro Vita Advisors, Life Decisions International, and The Haven.
Patricia built and directed the Respect Life office in the Diocese of Rockford, where she also worked as the Natural Family Planning Coordinator and as a columnist for The Observer, the official diocesan newspaper. For seven of her ten years with the diocese, she also served as chairman of the Department for Life of the Catholic Conference of Illinois. She has spoken at numerous churches, pregnancy care centers, schools, community groups, and pro-life conferences worldwide.
In August of 2010, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, then-chairman of the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities, presented Patricia with a "People of Life" award for her "lifetime commitment to the pro-life movement."
