Statement on the 2024 Election Results

In this historical moment, as President Trump wins as second term and the GOP is set to control the two Houses of Congress, we urgently need our politicians to be powerful spokespeople that steadfastly oppose the anti-life and anti-family agenda that are destroying individuals, families, and communities. May these leaders seek and employ effective means to protect the fundamental right to life of every human being, including the preborn child, in law, to defend natural marriage and the sacredness of human sexuality within the covenant of marriage, parental rights, and the family as the bedrock of society, as well as the right of conscience and religious freedom.

The United States wields enormous global influence, and it is fitting that these newly elected leaders also use their authority not only to protect national sovereignty but also to adopt a foreign policy that is explicitly committed to proactivelyfighting the murder of innocent preborn children in other nations, to reject demographic control—the exportation of coercive population control, built upon contraception, sterilization, abortion and radical sex education and gender ideology in order to “protect” U.S. interests.

We desperately need clarity, courage, leadership, and strenuous effort to proactively promote pro-life and pro-family values within US policy and programs, as well as at the United Nations and other international bodies. It is not enough merely to object to or oppose the anti-life and anti-family agenda; we need to be working to pro-activelyprotect the preborn and the family.

With this election cycle, we have reason to be hopeful and grateful for the opportunities before us. However, we need effective, convicted moral leaders who can lead the nation forward with the courage and wisdom to create a true Culture of Life in our country, and around the world. I hope you will join me in praying for President Trump, for his administration, and for our congressional leaders.
