Seminarians
for Life International ®
Founded in
1989 by Rev. Paul Marx, O.S.B., SFLI was instituted as a worldwide
pro-life educational apostolate for Catholic seminarians. SFLI
currently reaches seminaries around the world via the SFLI newsletter
and pro-life educational training.
SFLI's current
president, Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, has traveled the globe extensively
carrying out this mission along with noted HLI team experts Dr.
Brian Clowes and Joseph Meaney, who have spoken boldly concerning
the threats
to life.
The long arm
of SFLI's pro-life seminarian apostolate has reached as far as
the lands of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Columbia,
Costa Rica, Cuba, Croatia, El Salvador, Honduras, India, Italy,
Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay,
Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore,
Ukraine, the United States and Venezuela.
The fruit
of their labors have contributed to these countries seminarians
erecting their own pro-life bulwark. For example, HLI Romania
now translates the SFLI newsletter into the Romanian language
to further spread the Gospel of Life!
As director
of SFLI, I welcome input from seminarians and faculty. I am a
former seminarian with a Masters of Divinity from Mount St. Mary's
Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where I served as former president
of Seminarians for Life International in 1999 and 2000.
Our
